Scholarships to attend the congresses of the French Society of Medical Mycology and the French Society of Parasitology

Pierre Fabre Foundation Scholarships for students or young scientists from the Global South

The Congresses of the French Society of Medical Mycology and the French Society of Parasitology, which will take place from 22nd to 24th May 2019 in Tours, France, in association with the Franco-Maghreb Journées de Parasitologie Mycologie, propose to award 4 scholarships to students or young scietist from a country in the Global South to give them the opportunity to present their work related to the Congress theme in plenary session.

These scholarships will cover travel (airfare), accommodation and congress registration costs.

The selection will be made by the Scientific Council of the Congress after examination of the eligibility criteria and the proposed abstracts.

Criteria for participation:

  • Apply before 31st March 2019 (Attention: one month before the 30th April deadline for all other abstracts!);
  • Be a young non-statutory scientist (under 35 years of age, PhD candidate or postdoc);
  • Be from and work in one of the countries of the eligible world regions: Africa, Middle and Near East, Asia, Central and South America;
  • In case of selection, the presentation must be in French or English.

These two files will be named by the candidate's First and Last Name.
