"I just wanted to convey a message here in this event that African economy can only be boosted via science and technology and via relying on talented young scientists. Of course, opportunities have to be created in their home countries. This would have a strong return on the national economies. The message is funding high education activities is not “pour la forme”. It’s mainly for supporting the economy and supporting national goals."
